Four Star Self Catering for 10 (+2) by Loch Long and Loch Lomond

Mansefield House, situated in the picturesque highland village of Arrochar, on the shores of Loch Long, is a fine Grade B listed Victorian house.  Full of character and original features, Mansefield House offers a comfortable, well equipped and attractive home from home.

Situated on the shores of Loch Long, Mansefield House has uninterrupted views of the loch, the Arrochar Alps and Argyll Forest Park. The house stands in an elevated position with large private gardens of mature shrubs, trees and lawns. Loch Lomond lies 2 miles to the East.

Mansefield House is a warm and homely house perfectly suited to families with young children, groups of friends celebrating a special occasion or reunion, as well as walkers and cyclists. Well behaved pets are welcome.

We can offer professional catering for the night you arrive (with a meal waiting in the fridge ready to reheat), or a special waited upon dinner party, or indeed dinner cooked for you every night.

In the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, exceptional walking, climbing, golf, wilderness mountain biking, horse riding, fishing, canoeing, sailing and various other watersports are on the doorstep, while the centre of Glasgow and its abundance of culture is only a 45 minute drive away.

The immediate area has a wealth of attractions, including Inveraray Castle, Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Hill House, the Glengoyne Whisky Distillery, and the glorious gardens of Argyll & Bute. There is something to do in all weathers for all ages.
